Across the world people will be paying their respect to the men and women have have throughout history protected and fought for our freedom.
I have known many wonderful people who have served for Great Britain including My Grandfather – who was taken prisoner of war in Japan. He was a true hero as he was beaten, starved and mis-treated but 50 years later welcomed with open arms my Japanese Exchange Student.
Today is about respecting those who risk their lives but also respecting the hard work that men and women do across the globe to keep peace in our world.
Today is not about Us Vs Them but uniting to respect the lives of those who will put our lives before our own
