Europe

Are you planning on heading to Europe any time soon? If you are, then you’ve made a fantastic choice, and there are plenty of things that you can do when you get there. It’s a beautiful place no matter which country you find yourself in, so you’re never going to get bored. If you want some advice as to some of the things that you can do when you’ve found yourself in Europe, keep reading down below because that’s exactly what we’re going to be talking about.

Go On A Tour

One of the things that you can do is head out on a tour. If you are interested in learning about the history of the place that you’re in, then you definitely want to do this. Or, if there are some interesting landmarks that you want to see, we’re sure that there is a tour that allows you to learn more about them. You could even go on a cycling holidays in the Netherlands and see the different attractions this way if you’re up for a challenge!

Make sure that you take a look at the guided tour operations that are available in the area that you’re going to be visiting. You don’t want to miss out on something incredible simply because you didn’t plan ahead. Of course, this isn’t for everyone so it won’t appeal to all people, but that’s okay because there are plenty of other things to do.

Travelling Europe

Wine Tasting in Italy

Europe has some of the most fantastic vineyards in the whole world. Italy especially is known for its fine wine, so it should come as no surprise that if you visit Italy in particular, you should absolutely head out for some wine tasting. Even if you think that wine isn’t your thing, you would be surprised at just how much variety there is out there. We’re sure that you’re bound to like one at some point!

Travelling EuropeExplore Europe!

Finally, why not just go exploring? Each country in Europe has something for you to see or experience, so make the most of it. If you’re staying in one country, then make sure to explore as much as possible in the time that you’re there. If you’re travelling around the continent, then go where the wind takes you.

Find hidden places that you don’t see on the map. Don’t be afraid to journey into places just because you don’t know where you’re going. Someone will be able to give you directions out, or your phone has GPS if needed. Don’t miss out on exploring just because you’re afraid of getting lost. Being afraid is not a good enough reason not to do something, and for as long as you remember that, then you’re going to have a blast.

Todays Workout – Ab Workout

This year I have been really focusing on getting my body into shape. I turn 25 mid this year so the time is now for me to transform to be the best woman I can be.

Abs are one area that really can make or break a bikini situation. For women they are one of the toughest areas as we carry fat on our stomachs for when we are ready for babies.

To get a flat stomach it is a combination of two factors: Nutrition and Exercise.

If you have weight to lose HIIT exercises combined with strength will help you lose the excess weight.

Once you get lower – ab exercises do help define your stomach.

Social Eating House Review

Social Eating House

Take the stress out of dining in London.

Social Eating House opened in Poland Street earlier this year and is regularly getting at least 4/5 star reviews – so thought it was about time we checked it out.

I booked no.58 for a 7 pm sitting (they were fully booked around this time for about a week!).

We were greeted at the door by a very welcoming gentleman who took us to our seats.

We sat down and within minutes were sipping into our first drinks: Nicolas a cocktail and myself a Prosecco

Nicolas chooses a Wi’ Jam In -(Appleton V/X rum, apricot jam, mint, fresh lemon juice, pimento dram, crushed ice) it was a little heavy on the Ice but none the less a beautifully crafted cocktail.Social Eating House Stress Free Blogger Cyntra

I had a Prosecco “Argeo”, Ruggeri, Italy – it was bubbly and dry and left a wonderful finish – one of the nicest Prosecco’s I have had in London.

For Starter

We then decided to their Jars. These are pots of a pate type mixture served with slices of bread or poppadoms to be shared…

We choose:

Confit duck rillet, spiced mango, chicory jar – it was deliciously full of flavour – definitely, recommend!

Smoked mackerel pate, horseradish cream – in comparison to the Duck – this lacked a little something but nevertheless well crafted.

The Main Event

I choose Jerusalem artichoke, roast cep, Scottish scallop, pork skin, marsh samphire and Nicolas went for the Roasted monkfish loin, St. Austell mussels, courgettes, bok choi, roasted chicken juice.

My soup was beyond delicious – it was light almost like it had bubbles in it, the scallop was cooked to perfection – all the flavours complemented each other perfectly and the presentation was impeccable. Nicolas enjoyed his monkfish but commented that the jus it was served took away from the flavour of the fish – however very enjoyable.

I think he may have suffered a little food jealousy as the ladies next to us ordered the Duck “smoked ham, egg and chips” which looked divine.

Dessert

With giggles, satiated bellies and bubbly heads we finished off our meal with a Social Eating House style “Wagon Wheel” toasted meringue, salted caramel, raspberry sorbet.

A fun twist on a time old classic – it had great flavours, which were really finished off by the dark chocolate wheel!

All in all, we had a great date night.

The service was quick and conscientious. The wine waiter was knowledgeable and helpful. To top it off the food was crafted with skill and flavour.

We left wanting to come back for more and try other dishes on the menu!
